In the end, the result was all right , but not good. There was barely any ice cream in it because it melted all over the plate. The next try was no different.
Yesterday, however, was better. This time, I took a paring knife and cut an X on the top of each puff and then, with my pastry cream, which I happened to make Chocolate-Vanilla I piped a generous amount of pastry cream into each puff, but halfway through, I realized I was running out of cream.
I piped less into the puffs, and it was just enough. Unfortunately, that meant no extra to eat. I put the two plates of puffs the heavier and more filled on one plate and the lighter and less filled on the other in the fridge, because cold pastry cream is SO GOOD.
Split your pastry cream into two bowls. Stir the cocoa into one and leave the other vanilla. Put them both into separate piping bags.
Tie off the ends with a small rubber band. Snip the tips where both colors come through. The apples add a little crunch, while the raisins make it chewy and flavorful.
A family recipe, with a few little alterations. Luckily, that makes it a real treat! Inside, there was two layers of coconut white cake and a thick layer of pinnaple-coconut filling.
The pinnaple was crushed from a can and boiled down with coconut extract, sugar, and shredded coconut.
It was iced in a Whipping Cream frosting and three tablespoons of rum. By The Prancing Pony Podcast — 3 weeks ago. By The Prancing Pony Podcast — 1 month ago.

The name Bree means "hill" according to Tolkien, justifying the name by arranging the village and the surrounding Bree-land around a large hill, named Bree-hill.
Both syllables are words for "hill" — the first is Celtic and the second Old English. In Tolkien's fiction, Bree was a very ancient settlement of men in Eriador, long established by the time of the Third Age of Middle-earth.
After the collapse of the kingdom of Arthedain, Bree continued to thrive without any central authority or government for many centuries. As Bree lies at the meeting of two large roadways, the Great East Road and the now disused Greenway, it had for centuries been a centre of trade and a stopping place for travellers, though as Arnor in the north waned Bree's prosperity and size declined.
Tolkien wrote of two different origins for the people of Bree. One was that Bree had been founded and populated by men of the Edain who did not reach Beleriand in the First Age, remaining east of the mountains in Eriador.
The other was that they were stemming instead from the same stock as the Dunlendings. By the time of The Lord of the Rings , Bree was the westernmost settlement of men in Middle-earth, and there was no other settlement of men within a hundred leagues of the Shire.
Directly west of Bree were the Barrow-downs and the Old Forest. Bree was the chief village of Bree-land, the only place in Middle-earth where men and hobbits dwelt side by side.
The hobbit community was older than that of the Shire, which was originally colonized from Bree.
There were four villages in Bree-land:. The Prancing Pony was an inn in Bree. It served locals, and was familiar to travellers, as one of Eriador 's major cross-roads was just outside the village: the meeting of the Great East Road and the Greenway.
At the time of the War of the Ring , the inn was owned and managed by Barliman Butterbur, a man who was somewhat absent-minded at times. He had two hobbit assistants, Nob and Bob.
In Mid-year's Day T. Barliman did not find anyone willing to bring it to the Shire, and it was soon forgotten. On the last Monday of September T.
Barliman noticed that their presence made the dogs and geese of the inn noisy and terrified Nob. He slammed the door on them, and later heard that they continued all the way to Archet.
The night before Frodo Baggins and his companions arrived another party of men came to the inn, travelling up the Greenway from the South.
